Josette
The second French restaurant of the Mamie Good brand has opened in London. Like its little sister Paulette, Josette offers a retro, warm atmosphere with a slightly old-fashioned charm. It embodies a vintage countryside spirit in a welcoming, family-style setting.
Pre-visualisation of the project
Jaillon Studio selected saturated colors inspired by the palette of Wes Anderson’s films, with a distinctive dominant green featuring small polka dots. The green tones and floral carpet evoke Josette’s farmhouse—Josette being the beloved grandmother of one of the restaurant’s two owners. Visualizing the overall atmosphere through mood boards and inspiration notes is a key step in our process, serving as a guiding reference throughout the entire build. This vision is carefully applied to every corner of the restaurant, ensuring a cohesive and immersive experience.
